WRMN-AM 1410 has a proud history of providing new and informational programming to Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs for over 60 years.
We are (with the exception of our sister station, WBIG in Aurora) the only news/talk format outside of the Chicago Loop. The winner of a multitude of awards from United Press International, the Illinois News Broadcasters Association and other prestigious organizations, WRMN-AM 1410 provides itself on being the “Conscience of the Community.”

The Weekday Lineup:
6-11 am--Morning Wake Up Call ("The First Shift)"
Let Marky B. (Mark Bialek) guide you through your early morning hours with the latest news, traffic, weather, and sports from right here in Elgin and the Fox River Valley. The Morning Wake Up Call is an informative yet lighthearted program that includes Radio Shopping Show phone calls and plenty of listener interaction. In fact, the 7 o'clock hour, which is also available on Facebook Live at WRMN 1410 Radio on Facebook, is largely devoted to our "First Shift Staff", with conversation between Mark and his listeners via the Facebook chat room, text messages, and phone calls.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, former South Elgin Police Chief Larry Jones joins Mark for news and nonsense, and they are joined by Sarge during It's Your Turn on Mondays and by Jakes (Chris Jacobsen) for a younger perspective during the 8 am hour on Fridays. The Morning Wake Up Call also features Steve Thoren and Steve Ainsworth with Community Spotlight (Fridays, 9:30 am), Fridays with the Fuzz with Elgin Police Chief Ana Lalley (Fridays, 10:30 am), and various other monthly segments, including the sponsored Medicare Made ABCDEasy with Danny Gilley, Juliann & Erik Dybvik, Kaptain's Corner (with Elgin Mayor Dave Kaptain, 1st Thursday of month 9:15 am), Elgin Time (with Steve Thoren, 2nd Tuesday, 9:15 am), The Voice of the Village (South Elgin update, 2nd Thursday, 9:15 am), Cherie's Senior Showcase (with Cherie Aschenbrenner, 3rd Tuesday, 9:15 am), and Chamber Chat (with Carol Gieske, 4th Tuesday, 9:15 am).
11 am-1 pm--The Radio Shopping Show

Let Tori take you through your mid-morning Radio Shopping Show from Monday through Thursday, and go One on One with Leah every Friday morning. The final 30 minutes features Tradio as well, where listeners are encourage to call in to buy, sell, and promote items they have for sale and events they'd like to advertise, like garage sales.
1-4 pm--The Brian Kilmeade Show
Brian (from Fox and Friends) takes you through the afternoon with the knowledge, humor and wit America loves in a fair, funny and informative way. With interviews second to none, Brian talks to the biggest names in politics, news, sports and entertainment.
4-6 pm--The Prime Time Radio Shopping Show
Live large for less every afternoon by listening to WRMN's "Primetime Radio Shopping Show Personalities," including "Super" Dave Niven (Monday), Leah Unser (Tuesday), and "Uncle" Gary McNeal (Wednesday).
6-9 pm--The Buck Sexton Show
Each day on The Buck Sexton Show, Sexton discusses the important news, information and events that matter most to the daily lives of Americans. From business and politics, to entertainment and social issues, he shares his razor sharp, passionate takes on the latest local, national and global headlines, and welcomes a variety of key guests and experts.
9 pm-Midnight--Ground Zero (with Clyde Lewis)
Each night on the program, Lewis discusses all matters of the paranormal, UFOs and conspiracies, and shares his passionate and knowledgeable approach to news, current events and politics. His unique, non-conventional, and often theatrical, take on late-night talk radio has made him a consistent ratings winner.
12-5 am--Coast to Coast (with George Noory)
Each night on Coast to Coast AM, listeners are captivated with discussions on news and current events, conspiracy theories, UFOs, life after death, and all things curious and unexplained. This is appointment radio featuring up-to-the-minute medical and wellness news. In addition to tons of calls from listeners across the country, Doug and Dr. Ken present the latest medical news and information in a fun and friendly format.Dr. Ken Kronhaus is a trained medical scientist and researcher, and is regarded as one of the preeminent cardiologists in the country.
8 am to 12 pm--The Radio Shopping Show
Don't you love the feeling you get right after you get home from grocery shopping and the refrigerator is full of food and drinks? That's the feeling you get when you listen to the Radio Shopping Show on re-stock Saturday. On Saturday morning, the WRMN "refrigerator" is full, and our loaded inventory of restaurants, hotel stays, and services is prime for the picking!
12-1 pm--Beer Guys Radio
The Beer Guys cover the exploding craft beer scene like nobody else. Each week, the Beer Guys interview professional brewers, restauranteurs, home brewers, politicians, and other industry experts about craft beer. Somewhere in Time features the late Art Bell, the creator of Coast to Coast AM who retired in 2007 from regular appearances on the program he built and made famous. Somewhere In Time represents the best in classic Art Bell shows.
