Numerous amenities have been added specifically for the business traveler. A beautiful full size executive desk with a comfortable chair will be featured in each room. Tabletop lamps feature base electrical outlets in order to provide convenient hook ups for laptop computers and appliances.
The Hampton Majestic offers a spacious guest bathroom beautifully appointed with marble counters and polished chrome fixtures. New shower heads with broader spray and multiple massage settings have been added to enhance your bath experience.
All rooms come with high ceilings while elegant draperies compliment the interior and provide maximum privacy. The original windows are still in place although building codes prevent their use today.
In addition to these fine amenities we offer a limited number of upgraded King Special rooms. Our King Special rooms offer all the amenities listed above and also include a sleeper sofa, under the counter refrigerator and microwave oven and have a unique layout that gives a bit more room.

Location
The Hampton Majestic is centrally located downtown, adjacent to the Financial and Theater Districts of Chicago . The hotel is situated above the Bank of America Theatre. The hotel is walking distance to all State Street Stores and all downtown theaters are within a 3 block radius. Millennium Park , Grant Park, the Chicago Art Museum and the Harold Washington Library are just a few minutes walk from the front door of the hotel.

Transportation
Getting to and from the hotel is easy, with the abundance of local transportation options. Our friendly front office staff can assist you with answers to all your questions. The hotel is located within one block of numerous subway or "El" train stops, as well as CTA busses. Local city tour busses are only 1 block east of the hotel. Cab and shuttle services are also available. O'Hare and Midway Airports are both just 18 miles and 12 miles from the hotel respectively.
CTA directions from Midway:
- Leave Midway on the Orange Line “El Train” The train only goes one direction from Midway toward the city.
- Exit at the Wabash / Madison stop and walk down the stairs
- As you walk down the stairs, you need to walk south on Wabash one block to Monroe.
- Take a right on Monroe and we will be 1 ½ blocks up on the right hand side just past the Bank of America Theater.
CTA directions from O’Hare:
- Leave O’Hare on the Blue Line “El Train” The train only goes one direction from O’Hare toward the city.
- Exit at the Monroe stop and walk up the stairs. We are just east of the train stop on Monroe. You will see signs for the Bank of America Theater
